In tight turns, some superstars cross their hands while others do not. Skills coaches generally forbid crossing hands. Yet McDavid and other superstars do. The debate rages on: should you cross your hands or not?
The answer is simple, once you know the motor preferences in ice hockey and other sports. Some profiles do, others don't. Both are possible. Both are possible, but not in the heat of the moment with maximum preference. We call this preference "right powershoulder" or "left powershoulder". Strong left or right shoulder.
